Band Recommendations?

I love the band U2 more than anything, but I already know everything
about them there is to know so I'd like to find a new band to listen
to. Based on the fact that I like U2, could you give me some
recommendations?

I don't listen to hard metal, or anything way too intense, but I like
rock music. I like something with a good chorus and melody.
